Arsenal are reportedly eyeing up a late January move for Southampton full-back Cedric Soares.
And the news has been greeted with plenty of positivity from several Gunners supporters.
According to the Daily Mail, Mikel Arteta is keen to strengthen in the full-back area, with Arsenal willing to pay up to £5 million plus bonuses for the defender’s services this month.
Reports claim that the Saints are also open to parting ways with the right-back before Friday’s deadline, with Tottenham’s Kyle Walker-Peters set to move to St Mary’s on loan.
Cedric, who helped Portugal win the European Championships in 2016, is out of contract on the south coast at the end of the season.
