Southampton defender Cedric Soares is being linked with a move to fellow Premier League side Arsenal this week.
According to The Telegraph, Arsenal are interested in the Portuguese international and are considering an offer before Friday’s deadline.
The report claims that Southampton are willing to accept a fee in the region of £6m, due to him being out of contract at the end of the season.
If Southampton do not sell him this month then they run the risk of losing him on a free in the summer. Cedric has been Southampton’s first-choice at right-back this season, ahead of Yan Valery, but is currently out with a knee injury.
