Manchester United appear to be interested in signing Jean-Clair Todibo, who has been heavily linked with Southampton in the past week.
According to claims from Spanish news outlet Sport, as cited by Inside Futbol, the Red Devils have entered the race to recruit the 19-year-old, who could be on the move in January.
Todibo has shown promising signs when he has played for Barcelona this season, but with first-team minutes hardly guaranteed under Ernesto Valverde, speculation surrounding his future has started.
United have, as per Sport, already sent a representative to Spain to hold talks with the La Liga giants, and are ready to submit an offer worth €20 million for the ex-Toulouse star.

Todibo would walk straight into Southampton’s starting line-up, and that isn’t guaranteed elsewhere at clubs like United.
However, the 19-year-old has all the makings of a top defender, and it comes as no surprise to see that prestigious clubs from across Europe are keen to recruit him.
Todibo is both one for the future and a high-quality player for the here and now. He’d be a great signing for Saints, but this one is looking more and more unrealistic by the day.
