Southampton have been linked with a move for Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen in recent days.
Saints, alongside fellow Premier League outfit Newcastle United, are believed to be keeping a close eye on how the 22-year-old is faring for the Tigers in the Championship this season.
Bowen already has four league goals to his name in 2019/20 and appears to be a target for Premier League clubs ahead of the January transfer window.
He found the back of the net on 22 occasions for Hull last season and was comprehensively the club’s top goalscorer.
However, it seems they may face an uphill battle to keep hold of him in January, with reports suggesting that Premier League clubs are beginning to circle.
Southampton already added to their attacking options in the summer transfer window, but it is interesting to see that they are still being touted with further moves to strengthen in the final third.
