Southampton’s penultimate game of the season sees them travel to the London Stadium to face West Ham United on Saturday afternoon.
The Saints secured Premier League survival last time out in their 3-3 draw with Bournemouth after Cardiff City lost 1-0 at Fulham to extend the gap to seven points with two games to play.
It is an unusual situation for Southampton as they are now able to play these remaining games without any pressure, as not much is really riding on them.
Inconsistency has resulted in West Ham sitting in the bottom half of the table in 11th place, with any dreams of a finish in the Europa League qualification spots over.
The Hammers were impressive last weekend, though, as they became the first team to beat Tottenham Hotspur at their new stadium. Michail Antonio scored the decisive goal in a 1-0 win.
Ralph Hasenhuttl has revealed he will be without Maya Yoshida and Jannik Vestergaard for this clash, which will make it interesting as to whether he will opt for a back three or back four.
The gaffer also suggested he could give opportunities for players like Fraser Forster to come in and impress ahead of the summer transfer window, which makes this prediction even harder.
Nevertheless, here’s how we reckon Hasenhuttl will set his side up against West Ham!
