Southampton will be looking to go one better from their previous meeting with Arsene Wenger’s men this Saturday as they travel to North London to face an in-form Arsenal side, who will be looking to win their second game of this Premier League season.
When Saints travelled to the Emirates Staduim last time around, they came away with a point; thanks to a magnificent display from goalkeeper Fraser Forster.
Forster was unbeatable that night, making a number of world class saves to earn his team a point – one of his best was denying Mesut Ozil, as the German pounced on a chance that looked like a clear goal, only for Forster’s heroics to deny the German international.
Saints failed to create that much on the night; it was very much a case of trying to hold on for one point in the latter stages of the game.

Forster continued to make fantastic saves all evening, denying Ozil once again and pulling off a top quality save to keep Olivier Giroud off the score sheet.
This game came just over a month after the reverse fixture, when Saints completely outplayed The Gunners and ran out 4-0 winners at St Mary’s on Boxing Day last year.
