A number of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to beg their club to sign Fraser Forster from Southampton on a permanent deal this summer.
Forster is currently on loan at Celtic from Southampton and has caught the eye with some excellent displays up in Scotland this season.
The English shot-stopper has been able to play regular minutes for the Hoops after struggling for game time in recent seasons with the Saints.
Both Alex McCarthy and Angus Gunn have been ahead of him in the pecking order. This meant that Forster was often left out of the matchday squad entirely, rather than just sitting on the bench behind a number one.
He has made 38 appearances for Celtic in all competitions this season, including seven in the Europa League. He has averaged an impressive WhoScored rating of 6.88 for his performances in the Europa League, including top-class displays against Serie A giants Lazio.
