A number of Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to name their favourite goal of the season so far.
The Premier League has been suspended until 4th April, at the earliest, so the Saints will not be playing any matches in the near future.
Some Southampton fans have seen it as a good time to look back at the season so far and what the Saints have achieved in the past six months or so.
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side have scored 35 goals in the Premier League this season, whilst they have also scored several across the League Cup and FA Cup – including four away to fierce rivals Portsmouth.
Danny Ings, in particular, has scored some stunning goals. He brilliantly flicked the ball over Toby Alderweireld to score against Tottenham at home, whilst he also recently smashed the ball into the bottom corner from 20-yards against Crystal Palace.
