Southampton could potentially be in the market to sign a new central defender when the summer transfer window opens for business.
According to Football Insider, Southampton are open to offers for centre-back Jannik Vestergaard and are ready to move him on ahead of next season.
The report claims that the club value him at around £20m, after signing him from Borussia Monchengladbach for £18m in the summer of 2018.
Ralph Hasenhuttl is said to be frustrated by the number of goals Southampton have conceded in the Premier League this season. Only Aston Villa have let in more league goals than Southampton in the top tier this term, with the Saints also currently being level with bottom of the table Norwich.
