A number of Southampton fans have reacted to the news that former striker Manolo Gabbiadini has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Some Saints fans have taken to Twitter to wish him well and pray for his recovery after the news was confirmed that he has contracted the disease.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the news on social media, by saying that Gabbiadini has tested positive for coronavirus.

Gabbiadini spent two years with Southampton in England and scored 10 Premier League goals during his time with the club.
This included four goals in his first 10 Premier League games for the club, as well as scoring twice at Wembley as Southampton lost 3-2 to Manchester United in the League Cup final.
He joined Sampdoria in January 2019 and has been thriving in the Serie A, with 10 goals in 25 starts.
