A number of Southampton fans have reacted to a report claiming that the club are willing to sell Jannik Vestergaard in the summer.
Some Saints fans have taken to Twitter to voice their opinions on the news, with Vestergaard potentially on his way out of St. Mary’s.
According to Football Insider, Southampton value Vestergaard at around £20m and are open to offers for him heading into the summer transfer window.
The report claims that Southampton are ready to let him leave after falling out of the starting XI this season. Jack Stephens and Jan Bednarek have been Ralph Hasenhuttl’s first-choice partnership at centre-back, often leaving Vestergaard to watch on from the bench in the Premier League.
Football Insider also claim that Southampton are looking at Millwall centre-back Jake Cooper as a possible replacement for the Danish giant ahead of next season.
