A number of Southampton fans have reacted to the news that the club has reportedly been put up for sale.
Some Saints fans have taken to Twitter to react to the report as they consider what this could mean going forward.
According to The Times, a broker has been asked to source a buyer for the club, with the price tag set at £250m.
The current owner, Gao Jisheng, is looking to leave the club and is seemingly willing to part ways if someone is able to meet his valuation of Southampton Football Club.
This comes almost three years after he bought the club from Katharina Liebherr, which was in August 2017. Since arriving at the club, Southampton have finished 17th and 16th in the Premier League, with a bottom half finish also looming for the current campaign.
These Southampton fans reacted to the report and were delighted by the potential sale.
