A number of Southampton fans have reacted to a report linking their club with a move for Millwall centre-back Jake Cooper this summer.
Some Saints supporters have taken to Twitter to voice their opinion on the potential signing of Cooper, with some speaking in favour of the move and some speaking against it.
Football Insider report that Southampton and Aston Villa are both interested in a deal for Cooper and that the duo are set to battle it out for his signature.
The report claims that Ralph Hasenhuttl wants to strengthen his defence in the summer and has identified Cooper as a target to bolster his options.
Cooper has played every single minute of Millwall’s Championship campaign this term, starting all 36 matches. The 25-year-old has clearly caught Hasenhuttl’s eye with his performances in the second tier for the London club.
But what do the fans think of Cooper potentially arriving at St. Mary’s? Here are some opinions on the rumour…
