A number of Southampton fans have reacted to the club’s post wishing Nathan Redmond a happy 26th birthday.
Some Saints fans have taken to Twitter to celebrate his birthday, with the club posting a clip of his goal in the 4-0 win over Portsmouth in the League Cup earlier this season.
Redmond is currently out injured but had been enjoying a decent season before his knock. The winger has a respectable four goals and three assists in all competitions, which is the joint-most goals outside of Danny Ings and the joint-most assists in the Southampton squad.
He scored the fourth goal in Southampton’s thrashing of their south coast rivals as he brilliantly dribbled the ball inside before smashing a shot into the bottom corner. It was a fantastic goal and topped off an excellent night for the Saints.
These Southampton fans reacted to the post, wishing him a happy birthday and that famous goal.
