A number of Southampton fans have reacted to former midfielder Victor Wanyama signing for MLS side Montreal Impact on a permanent deal.
Some Saints supporters have taken to Twitter to offer their thoughts on the move and how he has fared since leaving the club to sign for Tottenham.
Wanyama made 97 first-team appearances across all competitions in his three years at Southampton before joining Tottenham in the summer of 2016. He then made 97 appearances for Tottenham in four seasons before now completing this move to Montreal in the MLS.
Whilst he failed to win a major trophy with Tottenham, he did help them finish second in the Premier League and reach a Champions League final during his time in London. This was after helping Southampton finish 6th in the Premier League and only a few points off the top four.
These Southampton fans reacted to the news with mixed opinions on the midfielder…
