A number of Southampton fans have questioned Jan Bednarek after his disappointing display against West Ham at the weekend.
Some Saints fans were unimpressed with his performance as Southampton were beaten 3-1 by West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday, their third loss in four Premier League matches.
Bednarek was beaten by Michail Antonio several times and switched off in key moments allowing West Ham to assert their dominance.
Jarrod Bowen, Sebastien Haller and Antonio scored the goals for West Ham, with Bednarek and Jack Stephens both failing to deal with the trio’s threat.
The Polish international looked off the pace at times and a yard behind the play. Antonio was constantly looking to stretch the game and drag Bednarek out wide, which left huge gaps in the middle of Southampton’s defence.
These Southampton fans reacted to Bednarek’s performance and were less than impressed with what they saw against the Hammers.
