A number of Southampton fans have responded to Ralph Hasenhuttl’s post-match comments following the defeat to West Ham.
Hasenhuttl labeled the goals that Southampton conceded as an “absolute joke” as he watched his side lose 3-1 at the London Stadium.
Jarrod Bowen opened the scoring as he ghosted into the box and dinked the ball into the back of the net. Michael Obafemi then equalised for the Saints, only for Alex McCarthy to fumble a catch to allow Sebastien Haller to slot the ball into the back of the net.
Michail Antonio then sealed the three points as he raced clear and slotted past McCarthy to make it 3-1, with Southampton unable to reply with any sustained pressure or efforts on goal.
Hasenhuttl was furious with the way Southampton conceded the goals and how his side performed throughout the match.
