Southampton Predicted XI: West Ham (A)

Southampton will be looking to make it back-to-back wins when they visit West Ham United on Saturday afternoon.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side recorded an important 2-0 victory at home to Aston Villa last time out in a result that ensured the side can start to look above them rather than behind.

The Saints have to face the Premier League’s bottom three along with fellow strugglers Newcastle United in their next five games so will see this as an opportunity to make an unlikely push for a European place.

Meanwhile, the Hammers are in desperate need for points with David Moyes’ side without a win in eight matches in all competitions – a run that has seen them drop into the relegation zone.

However, they were much more impressive in their last outing on Monday night as they were edged out 3-2 by runaway leaders Liverpool.

Southampton have a disappointing record against the Hammers over recent years, having lost their last four meetings including back-to-back 3-0 defeats in East London.

The team news for this match sees Nathan Redmond still ruled out, Kyle Walker-Peters is back in training while Moussa Djenepo could be a doubt following the passing of his mother earlier in the week.

Here’s how we predict the side to line up:
