A number of Southampton fans have picked up on the club mocking Burnley manager Sean Dyche in their latest matchday programme.
Southampton host Aston Villa at St. Mary’s on Saturday and have placed a fake quote from Dyche on the cover of their programme for the game.
It quotes Dyche as saying “Magic. I love it.” under a five-star review for the edition.
This comes after Dyche hit out at the comments made it in Southampton’s programme for the Burnley game.
The issue had sections stating that Burnley are a “long-ball side” and even went as far as picking out Charlie Taylor as a weak-link in their side.
Of course, Burnley went on to win the game 2-1 and Dyche could say that the programme gave them the extra motivation needed to pick up the three points.
The Saints media team have responded to Dyche’s criticism by making a joke, which Saints fans have enjoyed…
