A number of Celtic supporters have come out on Twitter and begged the club to sign Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster on a permanent deal.
Forster is currently on loan to Celtic from Southampton until the end of the season, but a section of Hoops fans are hoping that he is able to remain at the club beyond the summer.
This comes after Forster made an incredible penalty save against Copenhagen in the Europa League on Thursday night.
With the score at 1-1, Forster brilliantly tipped a penalty onto the post in order to help Celtic avoid defeat in the first leg clash.
The English shot-stopper has recorded an average WhoScored rating of 7.14 in Europe this season, with only two Celtic players – to play five or more games – managing higher than him.
This highlights the impact he has had at Celtic this season and the standard of his performances up in Scotland.
These Celtic fans reacted to his display and are desperate for him to sign permanently…
