Southampton allowed a number of players to leave the club on loan last summer as they trimmed their squad.
One of the players who was given the green light to leave was midfielder Mario Lemina. He left St. Mary’s to join Galatasaray on loan until the end of the season, with an option to sign him permanently for €16m.
Turkish Football have reported that Galatasaray are interested in signing him on a permanent basis in the summer, but are only prepared to offer €8m for his services.
The report claims that Galatasaray have been impressed with his performances and want to keep him at the club beyond the end of the campaign.
If Southampton reject their offer and they do not come back with the original €16m fee that was agreed between the two clubs, Lemina could end up back in England in the summer.
These Southampton fans, however, are not so keen on him having a second chance at the club if he returns at the end of the season.
