Southampton are reportedly expecting Ralph Hasenhuttl to commit his future to the club before the end of the season.
According to The Telegraph, Southampton are hopeful of Hasenhuttl agreeing to sign a new contract at St. Mary’s.
The report claims that they are confident in Hasenhuttl’s ability to lead the club in the long-term and believe that he agrees with the direction Southampton are heading in.
Southampton set a points target of 38 heading into the season, with the club currently sat on 31 with 13 games remaining. This means that Hasenhuttl only needs to rack up seven points from 13 games in order to achieve the club’s goal for the campaign.
Considering Southampton have accrued 16 points from their last eight games, it does appear likely that Hasenhuttl will be able to hit 38 points before the end of the season if they can keep up their current form.
These Southampton fans are looking forward to the future with Hasenhuttl after this latest update…
