Southampton are currently 13th in the Premier League, seven points clear of the bottom three heading into the final 13 games of the season.
The Saints are also only five points off the top six and have won three of their last five Premier League matches.
After 17 games, Southampton were in the bottom three and had won four games – drawing three and losing 10. They were only three points above Norwich at the time, but since then, they have collected 16 points in eight games and are now 13 points above the Canaries.
This illustrates the immense improvement Southampton have made over the last two months of Premier League action.
Ralph Hasenhuttl has done an excellent job in turning Southampton’s fortunes around, with the Austrian boss changing from a 3-5-2 formation to a 4-2-2-2 to spark the club’s run of form leading them to where they are now.
However, he only has 18 months left on his contract with the club and these Southampton fans have voiced their concern over his future…
