Southampton have officially confirmed that defender Kayne Ramsay has joined Shrewsbury on loan until the end of the season.
Ramsay has not featured for the first-team this season for Southampton and has now made the move to Shrewsbury in search of regular football in the third tier of English football.

Good luck, K… https://t.co/233EhLpQCu (@SouthamptonFC)
The 19-year-old made his debut for Southampton in the 2018/19 campaign in a 3-1 defeat against Manchester City in December. He then made his second start in the FA Cup against Derby a month later. The Saints lost the game 7-5 on pens at home to the Championship outfit.
Since then, he has been playing for the club’s under-23 side – now sealing a move to Shrewsbury to gain experience. He will hopefully be able to nail down his place in their side before returning to Southampton in the summer ready to fight for his place in the first-team squad.
