Saints fans react to disappointing result against Wolves

Some Saints fans were left frustrated after their team fell to a 3-2 defeat at the hand of Wolves, letting their two-goal lead slip.

Saints were flying in the first half, with goals from Bednarek and Long giving the home side a two-goal advantage, and with Southampton dominating the game, it seemed the contest was all but over.

But an early second-half goal from Pedro Neto was the beginning of Saints’ downfall. Jimenez converted from the spot, after Stephens conceded a penalty after a clumsy challenge on Jonny. Jimenez then scored what proved to be the winner just minutes later, as Adama Traore rolled the ball back to him in the box.

After the game some fans reacted hastily, after what was a disastrous second for Hasenhuttl’s side:

Some fans made their frustrations clear, and it is clear to see why after what was a bitterly disappointing result, but it is pivotal that fans remain positive, as the lads on the pitch could do with their support. The fans need to get behind their team this Tuesday, as they face a tough fixture against Crystal Palace, in order to give them a lift heading into the game.
