Leeds United have officially approached Southampton over a deal for striker Che Adams.
That according to Football Insider, who claim that the Whites have held preliminary discussions with the Saints over a proposed loan move.

Marcelo Bielsa is keen on adding quality to his attacking ranks following Eddie Nketiah’s return to Arsenal, and Adams now appears to be the club’s sole focus as they push for promotion to the Premier League.
Nottingham Forest are also thought to be keen on the 23-year-old, who is yet to score in the Premier League for the Saints following his £15m summer move from Birmingham City.

Adams appears to be keen on a return to the second tier, and if the Saints can bring in a forward of their own over the coming weeks, a move to Elland Road could be best for everyone involved.
Leeds would be getting themselves a forward who has bagged an impressive 34 Championship goals during his short career, Adams himself would be handed the chance to fire the Whites to the Premier League, which could then result in the Saints getting a striker full of confidence heading into the 2020/21 season.
