Leeds United have been linked with a January move for Southampton’s Che Adams, and the news has gone down a treat with the Whites faithful.
According to The Atheltic’s Phil Hay, Adams is Leeds’ top target to replace Eddie Nketiah, who looks likely to head back to Arsenal over the coming days.

Hay suggests that Adams is viewed as perfect competition for Patrick Bamford, who currently leads the line under Marcelo Bielsa.
Adams’ finishing and physical strength is what has attracted Leeds’ interest, with the forward failing to nail down a regular place in Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side.
The news regarding Leeds’ interest in Adams made its way across social media on Tuesday, and these Whites fans were buzzing.

Southampton reportedly have plans to bolster their front line in the new year, so Adams’ possible switch to Elland Road could be dependent on whether or not the Saints can strengthen their attack first.
Adams, who cost £15m over the summer, scored 34 Championship goals for Birmingham in three campaigns, 22 of which came last season.
He’s yet to score for the Saints, so a loan stint in Yorkshire for the second half the season could be of interest to both the player and his parent club.
