Southampton will be hoping to complete an excellent week for the club with a third straight victory when they host Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
Saints won a six-pointer last Saturday with a 3-1 triumph at Aston Villa before a wonderful 2-0 victory at Chelsea on Boxing Day.
These two results have taken Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side up to 14th in the Premier League as Saints complete the festive period with two home games against Palace and Spurs.
However, it’s been at St Mary’s that Southampton have struggled this season with their only two home victories coming against Watford and Norwich.
Meanwhile, Palace have had a decent campaign so far with their Boxing Day victory over West Ham moving Roy Hodgson’s side up to ninth in the table.
It will be interesting to see how much Hasenhuttl rotates his side for their second match in 48 hours, which makes this predicted XI slightly more difficult than usual.
