Southampton’s form has picked up of late and results are starting to flow, yet there is always room for improvement – especially when you are as far down the table as they are. Bowen has scored 15 goals for Hull in the Championship this season, after bagging 22 last term, and has proven that he knows how to finish in front of goal.
The Saints have heavily relied on Danny Ings’ goalscoring at the top end of the pitch, so signing Bowen to ease the load on his shoulders could be a masterstroke. Southampton would add a talented young winger with an eye for goal, and take the pressure off their leading scorer – who has a terrible injury record – to keep finding the back of the net.
