Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing to make a move for Hull City star Jarrod Bowen, who has been linked with Southampton in recent times.
The winger has found the back of the net on 15 occasions already this term, having netted 22 times in the Championship last season.
Bowen is set to be a man in demand in the January transfer window, with a host of clubs queueing up to pursue his signature.
However, Tottenham appear to be strong contenders in the race to sign him, with The Northern Echo reporting that scouts have convinced Jose Mourinho of his qualities.

Read Southampton’s verdict
Bowen is going to have far better offers than Southampton in January, and it is a shame as he has all the makings of a fantastic player.
He is good with both feet, has an exceptional knack of being in the right place at the right time, and has a bright future ahead of him.
Bowen is good enough to grow as a player at Tottenham, but it is hardly likely that he would play regular first-team football given the standard of attacking talent already in North London.
Perhaps this could tempt the winger to move elsewhere; after all, he won’t be short of potential suitors.
