The manager confirmed that the Mali international is nursing an injury to his hamstring, and will not be in contention to face Dean Smith’s side on Saturday afternoon.
Djenepo was forced to miss a lengthy period courtesy of a similar problem, and Hasenhuttl will be desperately hoping that his winger is not out for another extended period.

Djenepo hasn’t been at his best lately, but he remains one of Southampton’s most dangerous players.
Saints need more inspiration in the final third, and the news of Djenepo’s injury will serve as yet another blow for Hasenhuttl.
The onus will now be on the likes of Nathan Redmond to step up and prove their worth once again.
Regardless of who makes Hasenhuttl’s starting line-up at Villa Park, anything less than three points is not going to be acceptable as the relegation dogfight intensifies.
