Southampton have reportedly joined Manchester United in the race to sign Emmanuel Dennis from Club Brugge.
According to claims from French news outlet Foot Mercato, Saints have emerged as potential suitors for the forward, who has impressed throughout the first half of the season.
Dennis has been an outstanding player for Club Brugge in their Jupiler Pro League campaign and also caught the eye in the group stages of the Champions League.
Southampton and United are noted as possible destinations for the Nigeria international, while Brighton and Hove Albion and Leicester City are also keen.

Saints need to focus their attention towards strengthening their defensive options in the January transfer window.
However, Dennis would certainly provide Ralph Hasenhuttl with another strong attacking player to call upon.
The forward has been in fine form throughout the season and is among the several young talents making names for themselves in Belgium.
Dennis is not likely to be short of offers in January, and it seems a whole host of Premier League clubs are ready to provide him with a possible route to England.
Foot Mercato reports that Club Brugge will demand at least €30 million for their star man, however, which would probably rule Southampton out if their interest is indeed genuine.
