Southampton have encountered their fair share of defensive woes throughout the first half of the season so far.
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side have the second-worst goal difference in the entire Premier League, largely as a consequence of the well-publicised 9-0 drubbing at the hands of Leicester City in October.
Saints have struggled to keep the goals out, and clean sheets have been incredibly hard to come by.
