Jean-Clair Todibo, who has been linked with both Southampton and Watford, is reluctant to leave Barcelona unless there is no other ‘alternative’.
Mundo Deportivo reports that the Premier League pair, as well as AC Milan, Bayer Leverkusen and AS Monaco, are keen to recruit the 19-year-old in the January transfer window.
However, Todibo remains determined to fight for his place in the Barcelona team despite his limited game time throughout the first half of the season.
It is claimed that the Frenchman will not be departing out of choice if he does indeed leave Camp Nou in the New Year, and will only go if the club ‘push’ him out of the exit door.

Todibo has stiff competition for places in the Barcelona back-line, but he has enough quality to break into Ernesto Valverde’s plans.
He was outstanding as the La Liga champions beat Inter Milan 2-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday, turning in a superb display against Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku.
Todibo is capable of playing for more accomplished clubs than Southampton, unfortunately, but it seems as though Saints are looking in the right places for defensive reinforcements.
