Southampton face-off with West Ham United on Saturday in what can only be described as a six-pointer down at the bottom end of the table.
Saints have a chance to overtake the Hammers and climb out of the Premier League’s relegation zone with a win, while the visitors could pull clear of the hosts with a much-needed win.
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side head into this game on the back of a disappointing 2-1 loss to Newcastle United, while West Ham’s most recent outing resulted in a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal.
The pressure will be on Manuel Pellegrini at St Mary’s, with grave concerns over his future at the London Stadium following a dismal run of form.
Both squads contain plenty of talented individual players, but neither side have truly played as a unit in the first half of the season.
So, with the exception of injured players, who would make a combined Southampton and West Ham line-up? We’ve had our say.
