Southampton will be hoping to climb out of the relegation zone on Saturday when they take on West Ham United.
Saints won back-to-back games in the Premier League against Watford and Norwich City at St Mary’s to lift them out of the bottom three. Still, a loss to Newcastle United left them trailing their fellow survival hopefuls once again.
West Ham are hardly in a more comfortable position, though. Following a defeat to Arsenal on Monday, they could slip into the relegation zone if they lose to Southampton, with Manuel Pellegrini’s job under serious threat.
The pressure is on both teams to get a result on Saturday evening, and it goes without saying that it is a must-win game for each of the men in the dugout.
