Arsenal duo Dani Ceballos and Kieran Tierney are expected to be fit and available for selection for the Premier League clash with Southampton next week, according to a report on Football London.

Ceballos was forced off in the 54th minute of the UEFA Europa League group stage clash against Vitoria with a hamstring problem.

He missed the defeat to Leicester but is set to be back in contention for the clash with the Saints. As for Tierney, he has been eased into the first-team by manager Unai Emery and that is to manage his workload.

He was in the matchday squad for the defeat at the King Power Stadium but did not feature and also has not been called up by Scotland for international duty. He’s set to be in contention for a start against Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men.

The double boost for Arsenal is actually not good news for Southampton because it only makes it a tougher job to come away with a positive result.

The Saints are desperate to get back to winning ways and although on paper it seems an extremely difficult task, it’s not.

Arsenal are not in the best of form and are severely lacking in confidence, so this could be the perfect time for the Saints to prove themselves.
