Southampton have an exciting arsenal of attacking options this season, and several fans have been left impressed by what they’ve seen in recent weeks.

Saints have a chance to move up to third place on the Premier League table with a win over Bournemouth on Friday.

However, they will have to do so without Moussa Djenepo, who is sidelined for the clash with a muscular injury.

Nathan Redmond, too, is in a race against time to be fit for the clash at St Mary’s, as he continues to step up his recovery from an ankle issue.

Ralph Hasenhuttl may only have one fit winger at his disposal for the Bournemouth match, and that’s Sofiane Boufal.

The Moroccan has set up two goals since being reintegrated into the first-team setup, and these fans are backing him to step up in the absence of Djenepo against the Cherries…

Boufal will surely start against Bournemouth. He was fantastic at Sheffield United and is in a good vein of form.

It’d be good to see him get off the mark for the season with a goal, but his work both on and off the ball in the opening exchanges of the campaign has definitely been pleasing.

If Redmond isn’t quite ready, Saints will be relying on Boufal to provide the team with a source of creativity. It’s a great opportunity for him.
