Player ratings for this year’s edition of the FIFA video game were revealed on Tuesday, and it’s safe to say that the Southampton squad’s markings caused some debate.
Plenty of Saints fans took to Twitter to discuss the ratings of their club’s standout performers, and a general consensus is that one man, in particular, has been hard done by.
These Southampton supporters reckon EA Sports have undersold Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg qualities for FIFA 20…

I’d say that Hojbjerg and Nathan Redmond are our two best players, so to see anything suggested otherwise is a little confusing… I’d say Hojbjerg’s rating of 77 is definitely harsh.
It’s never worth reading too much into these kinds of thing, but it’s interesting to see that the likes of James Ward-Prowse are noted as markedly better than Hobjbjerg, largely because of his ability from set-pieces.
Either way, as long as we know how good Hojbjerg is and how important he is to our team, precious little else matters…
