Southampton will be looking to get their first points of the 2019/20 Premier League season when they travel along the south coast to face Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon.
Saints lost their opening two games of the new campaign 3-0 at Burnley and 2-1 at home to Liverpool last weekend.
Meanwhile, Brighton have been impressive under their new manager Graham Potter, having beaten Watford 3-0 and drawn 1-1 with West Ham.
However, Saints do have a decent record against their upcoming opponents. They have only lost two of their last 18 meetings, including a 1-0 win in this exact fixture last season.
There were definitely signs of encouragement for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side against Liverpool, and it will be interesting to see if any changes are made to the personnel or to the 5-3-2 system that was used.
Kevin Danso could be in line to make his Saints debut while Moussa Djenepo could also start after looking lively in a 15-minute cameo last Saturday.
Here’s how we predict the Southampton side to line-up.
