Southampton travel to Brighton this weekend as Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side look for their first points of the season.

While Saints are yet to pick up a point from their two league games, Brighton are unbeaten after beating Watford 3-0 and drawing 1-1 with West Ham.

Graham Potter will be hoping to continue the impressive start to his tenure, with it being Southampton’s task to stop them.

There have been some entertaining clashes between these two south coast clubs in recent times, and Saints have largely come out on top.

Saints got the better of the Seagulls last term after winning 1-0 at the Amex Stadium following an early-season 2-2 draw at St Mary’s.

In fact, Brighton are yet to beat Southampton in the Premier League era in their four top-flight clashes since 1983.
