Mohamed Elyounoussi appears to have dropped a big hint about his future on Instagram having replied to clamours from Besiktas fans, who are keen to see him arrive at the Turkish club this summer.
The winger took to social media to thank the public for their well-wishes following his 25th birthday, and the post’s comments section was inundated with supporters of the Super Lig giants asking him to ‘Come to Besiktas’.
Elyounoussi opted to respond to one comment, in particular, hinting that a move could be in the offing, as he replied with the black and white of Besiktas’ traditional home strip.
Recent reports suggested that the Turkish outfit would be holding further talks with Saints about a deal in the near future.

Elyounoussi seems pretty keen on the idea of a move to Besiktas, and I’m rather the same. I think he should go to the Super Lig and attempt to revitalise himself after a dismal spell in English football.
He played well in Switzerland before his £16 million switch to Southampton but has simply fallen short of the mark. Ralph Hasenhuttl won’t want fringe players taking up space in the squad, and as such, tying up a quick deal for Elyounoussi to join Besiktas on loan would be a favourable outcome.
It seems unlikely that he has a future here, but regardless of this, if he can go out to Turkey and impress during his loan spell, perhaps Saints will have a better chance of recouping some of the significant transfer fee that was spent on landing him.
