Southampton secured a huge three points against Wolves this afternoon, putting the FA Cup semi-finalists to the sword in a 3-1 win.
The Saints started off strong, taking only minutes to go 1-0 up thanks to Nathan Redmond.
Wolves would equalise not long after through Willy Boly, but Southampton would not be level for long with Redmond again putting Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side in front.
The three points would be wrapped up in the second half, with Shane Long again getting on the scoresheet to give his side a massive boost in their quest for survival in the top flight.
