Vestergaard has impressed in spells during his maiden Premier League season. However, fans will be hoping for more going forward from the defender.
9: Maya Yoshida - 43%
After winning 43% of his duels, Yoshida has done enough to break into the top 10.
8: Danny Ings - 43%
Southampton fans will certainly feel like that this man could have been much higher up on the list if it wasn’t for his injuries.
7: Oriol Romeu - 45%
The imperious midfielder was not too far away from reaching our top five but misses out on this occasion.
6: Stuart Armstrong - 50%
Armstrong has enjoyed a solid first season in the Premier League after joining from Celtic but narrowly misses out on the top five.
5: Yan Valery - 54%
You only have to look back at that goal at Old Trafford to see how impressive this young man has been. He has burst on to the scene this season and looks like a bright prospect for the years to come.
4: Nathan Redmond - 81%
Redmond was just lacking that little bit extra that would have been needed to break into the top three. Supporters will be hoping for more of the same from him between now and the end of the season.
3: Jan Bednarek - 84%
Jan Bednarek makes it into the top three after some inspired form in recent weeks. The whole top four, in general, was very closely contested.
2: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg - 85%
The Dane has been catching the eye for the Saints recently and only narrowly misses out on the top spot in our results.
1: James Ward-Prowse - 90%
This man has been so important for the Saints, under Ralph Hasenhuttl especially. Rightfully earning a place in the current England squad.
