Southampton have reportedly not interviewed Paulo Sousa after reports that the Portuguese boss was in lin to replace Mark Hughes at Southampton.
Hughes has been under pressure as of late, and the appearance of Sousa at the Fulham defeat led to rumours he was set to take over at St Mary’s.

However, Adam Leitch of the Southern Daily Echo has reported that Southampton have not approached the former Leicester City and Queen’s Park Rangers boss.
Twitter: Understand that #SaintsFC have not approached Paulo Sousa to replace Mark Hughes. Sousa was apparently in the board… https://t.co/xSgZXADkhG (@adamleitchsport)
The 48 year old was reportedly not invited by Saints, and his appearance at the game was not a precursor towards taking over from Mark Hughes.
The Portuguese boss was last at Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian, following spells at Fiorentina and FC Basel.
His last spell in England was with Leicester City, where Sousa was sacked after only 3 months in charge in the East Midlands.
