Saints boss Mark Hughes has revealed that Wesley Hoedt is a doubt for the visit of Watford this weekend.
Hughes revealed that the defender is suffering a foot injury, and so could be a doubt for the game against the Hornets on Saturday.
Speaking ahead of the clash, the Welshman said:
“We’ve got a little bit of a doubt over Wesley Hoedt. He’s got an infection in his foot which just needs to calm down a little bit so at the minute he’s a little bit sore.
“He didn’t train today, but apart from that we’re okay.”
Hughes also revealed that midfielder Mario Lemina is a slight doubt for the visit of Watford, but should be available for selection come Saturday.
Southampton have been in poor form of late, and suffered a big defeat to Manchester City last weekend.
Mark Hughes’ side will be looking to bounce back against Watford, who sit eighth in the Premier League table.
