Southampton will be keen to claim their first win at Goodison Park since 1997 this weekend as they make the trip to Everton.
The Saints head into the game off the back of a goalless draw with Burnley in their first fixture of the season. Everton, too, opened their season with a draw as they were held by Wolves at Molineux.
Mark Hughes has almost a full squad to pick from ahead of the clash on Merseyside but is likely to be without Mohamed Elyounoussi. The winger is believed to have muscle tightness and is therefore set to sit out of the encounter against Everton.
It’s set to be a close encounter at Goodison and Saints do, without doubt, head into this fixture as the underdogs. Nevertheless, Hughes will be hoping that his men can secure their first win of the season at a perennially unhappy hunting ground for the club.
Here’s how we reckon Southampton will line up against the Toffees.
