Southampton play their final pre-season fixture on Saturday afternoon as they welcome Borussia Monchengladbach to St Mary’s Stadium.
The Saints will be hoping to continue their steady form throughout recent friendlies with a win, following victories over Dijon and Celta Vigo in the last week.
Mark Hughes is set to have a near-full squad to pick from, with Nathan Redmond and Mario Lemina having returned to full training after missing out against Celta Vigo.
Maya Yoshida could feature after also sitting out of the Celta clash, but Cedric Soares is unlikely to play due to a stomach bug, Hughes has confirmed to the club’s official website.
The final game of pre-season always tends to give a relatively decent idea of how a team will line up when the campaign officially kicks off, and the outing against Monchengladbach is likely to be no different.
So, here’s how we’re expecting Saints to line up against the Bundesliga club.
