Mohamed Elyounoussi has reportedly passed a medical with Southampton, meaning the Norweigan winger is set to sign for the Saints.
The Norweigan is set to move to the South Coast from Swiss side FC Basel for a fee of over £16 million, being a direct replacement for Dusan Tadic who left Southampton this week for his ‘dream’ move to Ajax.

VG are reporting that Elyounoussi will sign a five year deal with Southampton, with a yearly salary of over 2.9 million pounds.

Southampton are reportedly also set to pay bonuses to Basel when the player has played a set amount of games for the Saints, with the transfer making Elyounoussi the most expensive Norweigan footballer of all time.
With his medical passed, the announcement of Elyounoussi at Southampton is near.
