Southampton host Stoke City in their final Premier League match on the 2016/17 season on Sunday.
A win for the Saints will ensure an eighth-placed position for club, which would be a fourth straight top ten finish in the league.
This would represent a superb accomplishment for the club, given the sheer amount of top players sold every summer.
Despite selling the likes of Sadio Mane, Victor Wanyama, Adam Lallana and Morgan Schneiderlin over the years, Southampton have managed to consistently perform at the top of the Premier League and cement their place as one of the best sides outside the top six.
However, everything is not rosy at the club and there have been reports claiming that manager Claude Puel will lose his job this summer.
Puel could finish the season on Sunday having led Southampton to a top-ten finish and a League Cup final, but his negative tactics and slow style of play has displeased the Saints faithful.
